Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Assalaamu`alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakatuhu
Alhamdulillaah, after the tawfeeq of Allaah, with the help of a small group of volunteers, the Columbus Dawah School site has been launched, alhamdulillaah.
The Columbus Dawah School site is intended to be an interactive, community-based site where those seeking to either learn, share, or teach may collaborate with one-another for the mutual benefit of all participants. Is it only appropriate, therefore, that our first major project to utilize the school site is the ever-growing Seats of Scholars program, alhamdulillaah.
As Columbus Dawah continues to grow, one of the goals I hope to achieve is the availability of classes and learning materials for anyone to come and benefit from. Seats of Scholars is the first of such projects, and in shaa Allaah, it won't be the last. With a dedicated site, I sincerely hope we can take projects like Seats of Scholars to the next level and beyond, in shaa Allaah. I invite you take a look, register on the site, and explore what it has to offer. While it is still currently very fresh, the Seats of Scholars team has been working tirelessly over the past two weeks to ensure that all available information from the program has been loaded. You will be able to find the notes, quizzes, exams, and even links to the audio (where available) all in one place.
In the near future, I hope other programs will come along that will choose to take advantage of what the school site has to offer, ranging from simple "How-To" guides all the way to full-fledged programs such as Seats of Scholars, and more, in shaa Allaah. If you are someone with a good deal of energy and a desire to share knowledge with others, and you have the drive to put the effort into setting up a course with your own team, please don't hesitate to speak up. You might just get the chance to start something wonderful, in shaa Allaah!
So, please have a look, share your comments, and give us your suggestions!
Jazaakum Allaahu khayr!
Wassalaamu`alaykum
